Co-CEO

Max Hilton is Co-CEO and runs Peregrine’s operations in North America. For over a decade, Max has guided domestic and global funds seeking to raise their profile amongst North American institutional, high-net-worth and advisor audiences, along with U.S. based managers seeking to increase their footprint overseas.

Max’s technical expertise spans the hedge fund, private equity and wider alternatives universe. Recent engagements include providing strategic guidance and corporate positioning for Iceland’s largest independent asset manager, GAMMA Capital Management, as well as directing The Citco Group of Companies with their positioning, global relationships and issues management. He has developed and implemented integrated brand building and strategic communications campaigns for top firms including: Brevan Howard Capital Management, Quest Partners, Campbell & Company, Cadian Capital Management, Haidar Capital, RA Capital, SkyBridge Capital, and DSC Quantitative Group.

He connects investment managers and allocators through Peregrine’s U.S. senior advisor network and cemented joint ventures with firms like Allocator (HedgePo) and Precision Advisors. Max is also a founding ambassador of HedgeBrunch – the hedge fund industry’s leading networking event. Additionally, he leads Peregrine’s corporate social responsibility and supports charities such as World of Money, A Leg To Stand On and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
