Rob Allard is the CEO of Firebreak Capital. He was the youngest head of a sales desk in Goldman Sachs’ FICC division, a role he held for six years, where he covered institutional investors, banks and corporates across the illiquid and structured product spectrum both sourcing and distributing assets.
Rob joined Goldman Sachs in 2008 from Deutsche Bank, where he ran the Structured Products Sales Team and was later named Managing Director. He received his Bachelor of Science in Politics and Statistics from University of Southampton, and holds the Series 7, 9, 10 and 63. Frequently involved in charitable endeavours, Rob trekked unsupported to the North Pole in 2011 as part of a team raising money for SPARKS, a UK children’s medical research charity. In that same year he also ran the NYC marathon to raise money for Team For Kids. Rob is a Board Member of World of Money.
