Cube came to us in 2021 knowing that they were good at infrastructure investment, but not knowing how to tell the world about this and differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive sector.
Working with the leadership team, we established a narrative that encapsulated what truly made them special – the fusion of sector knowledge with operational and financial expertise – and created a robust messaging framework that would then be applied to all their communications.
Cube felt they had evolved beyond their legacy brand identity and needed a more contemporary interpretation.
We expanded and formalised their visual identity by simplifying their logomark, as well as introducing a new colour palette, typeface, iconography and a more modern imagery style.
Bringing Cube’s value proposition to the fore was a key aim for the overall strategy. We worked with the Cube team to ensure the messaging and refreshed branding was pulled through onto the new site.
The resulting website champions Cube’s deep subject matter expertise and its critical societal function.
Since we began our work together, Cube's brand awareness has doubled and controlled media presence has improved across the board.
We have supported Cube with corporate announcements and deal flow communications, generating hundreds of pieces of earned media coverage across English- and French-speaking financial press, including infrastructure and investment trades publications, industry trades and national/regional press.
We wanted to create a double-take moment conveying a simple message; Cube delivers for investors by implementing incremental improvements to local infrastructure.
Over time, these sorts of improvements compound to a tipping point - one day you wake up and there are more electric vehicles on the road than not. This idea was perfectly captured by the Van Gogh quote, "Great things are done by a series of small things brought together."
We used AI to apply Van Gogh’s style to a Cube investment - renewable infrastructure. Van Gogh’s technique is a visual metaphor, his masterpieces were only achieved incrementally, through the building up of individual brush strokes.
The Social Media strategy aimed to give investors an intimate look into how the portfolio companies operate.
As part of this initiative, we delivered a high-impact, five-part video series highlighting Cube's underlying investments in mobility, telecoms, and digital infrastructure.
