Peregrine Communications, the fast-growing specialist financial public relations agency, has been listed in the Top 150 PR Consultancies 2011 by industry trade PRWeek.
At the same time, Anthony Payne, Peregrine’s founder and CEO, was cited in the PRWeek Power Book 2011, the publication’s annual guide to the most powerful people in the public relations industry.
“The Power Book… is ‘a who’s who of the British comms business’ and ‘is limited to the absolute crème de la crème of PR professionals.'”
According to Danny Rogers, the editor of PRWeek, the Power Book is “a who’s who of the British comms business” and is limited to “the absolute crème de la crème of PR professionals”. In the Top 150 PR Consultancies, Peregrine was listed at 111, with a 40% increase in revenues for the year. This compares with an industry-wide average of 9.24%.
“When I established Peregrine in 2003, my intention was to be able to offer clients a better standard of service and expertise than other financial communications agencies,” said Anthony Payne.
“I think we’re now beginning to see the results of that strategy as we have moved into the Top 150 agencies in this country. We have attracted some great talent to the Peregrine team recently, we have produced some fantastic results this year, and clients are starting to understand what we can do for them.”
