Karla joined Peregrine as an intern and quickly became a Junior Designer. During her time at Peregrine, Karla has gained experience designing for websites, social media campaigns, presentation decks, print collateral, brand identities and in-house projects. Recently, Karla has been developing her interest in motion graphics and video editing.
Prior to joining Peregrine Communications, Karla received a BA in Graphic Communication at the University of Northampton. In 2022 Karla won first place in the fiction category for the Penguin Cover Design Award. Author of the book, Bernardine Evaristo said: "The winning design is stunning, creative, surprising and bold while also being multi-referential and complex with an imaginative use of the Ghanaian Adinkra symbols. It’s a book cover, a poster and a work of art - all three."
